Hello again! I thought I could finally make a “Post Mortem” about
the funeral structures I excavated this summer: Chullpas!Chullpas look like small houses/towers (or in my case a series of connected chambers) and were places where the dead were placed along with different grave goods/offerings in Peru. The series of chullpas I helped excavate were made by Recuay people (100-800ad) and we found some amazing pottery, metal artifacts, and lithics along with the remains. I have a picture of the entrance to the specific chullpa I worked in on my previous post😁👍🏻
If you have any questions about the English used, my studies, or chullpas feel free to let me know😊🖤💀
