If you’re feeling depressed, here’s what I’d recommend: - listen to hopeful, encouraging, or happy music (no super depressing music allowed)
2 - get outside: you need to see the sky/sun (don’t close all your blinds)
3 - force yourself to spend time with other people (even if you don’t feel like it)
4 - make sure you don’t skip breakfast because it will mess with your stress hormones
5 - Exercise! It releases tons of endorphins that give you positive emotion and reduces your perception of pain
6 - make a plan for your life. Your brain produces positive emotions when it sees you are making progress towards a valued goal. So set some goals and pursue them diligently.
