Many people travel the world and visit tourist attractions


One of my biggest motivations for learning languages is so I can see the world one day and experience it authentically

There are many countries I want to visit in my lifetime, and I think speaking the native language of wherever you travel opens up an opportunity for a significantly different experience

    @Yoshi true, but I think language barriers sometime discourage tourists from trying to communicate freely (out of fear of embarrassment or annoying someone)
