Here are some bird photos I took at work today. Many of you know

that I work as a biologist and count migrating birds of prey. Today I counted over 2,000 raptors including over 1,500 broad-winged hawks! The birds in the photos are: Northern Harrier, Mallard, Caspian Tern, Red-breasted Merganser, Double-crested Cormorant, Hermit Thrush, Purple Martin, Broad-winged Hawk, Cooper’s Hawk. Braddock Bay Hawk Watch, Rochester, New York, USA.

Look at their streamlined bodies and the wings! They're all amazing! The last one, Cooper's Hawk, lt looks like a falcon because of its beak and its wings.
