今日はすごく簡単な文法のポイントを教えた

いと思います。
I want to teach you a really simple grammar point today.

未来形を使ったら、よく「タイムフレーズ」で「いつかする」を表すことになります。
When you use the future tense, sometimes you need “a time phrase” to say “when you’ll do something.”

Ex:

I’ll move to Osaka after 2 months.
あと2ヶ月大阪に引っ越す予定だ。

これはよく聞く。意味もわかるし、別に悪くないけど、ネーティブスピーカーはここで「after」を使いません。
I hear this a lot. I understand the meaning and it’s not so bad, but native speakers don’t use “after” here.

「after」の代わりに「in」を使いましょう。これは正しいです。例えば
Instead of using “after,” let’s use “in.” This is correct.

文型の作り方: 未来形文節＋in＋タイムフレーズ
Sentence formation: Future clause + in + time phrase

For example:

I’ll go to Spain in a month.
あと1ヶ月スペーンに行く。

It’s my birthday in a few days.
あと2日誕生日だよ。

Obon holiday is in 2 weeks.
お盆休みはあと2週間。
