America is really close to Mexico, so Mexican restaurants are really popular pretty much anywhere in the United States. There was this Mexican restaurant really close to my house when I was growing up, and we would go there a lot when I was a kid. Now one of the big traditions at a Mexican restaurant is either "chips and salsa", or "chips and guacamole". Now "chips and salsa" is good, but honestly I think "chips and guacamole" is just a little bit better. Now if you aren't familiar with guacamole, it's a dip that's made from avocados, and there's some other ingredients in there like salt, and lime, and sometimes diced tomatoes. But basically you mash it all up and it becomes this delicious creamy dip. And it just goes so well with the Mexican tortilla chips. If you ever get a chance to try "chips and guacamole", I definitely recommend it. It is so good.
