This year has been tough losing my job and all, but I think there

’s always positive things in most bad situations. By using most of my spare time learning Japanese, I have made faster process than I would have under normal circumstances.

It’s really great that you can think that way under that circumstance 👏🏻👏🏻 I’m still not over the opportunities I’ve lost because of Covid-19, so this post is encouraging for me

@Misaki I understand what you’re going through. In February, I was in a favourable position of getting a leadership promotion in my company. One month later in March, they took away those positions due to financial difficulty. I was guttered. But not as guttered as I was going to be two months later when they cut my current position. I went from most likely getting a 20-30% pay increase with a promotion to having nothing. But that’s life. Things happen. Nothing is guaranteed. It has taught me a lesson and it’s made me a smarter person. From now on, I won’t put all my focus on work soley ever again. I will self learn other skills to give back up options in case it happens again. Keep your chin up. You’ll bounce back.

Same here!!! Lol you know what my mom told me when I felt down last month? “You are lucky that you are healthy and happy! Think about those who lost their lives or family because of coronavirus!” 😓Well, that makes sense to me. Many of my friends have started their own businesses besides their jobs recently. They’ve been keeping telling me it’s very important to generate some stable passive income every month. No matter how much it is.

@夏目 アヤ 大魔王 They are right about that. I have learnt that lesson too late but at least I have learnt it now. The saying ‘don’t keep your eggs in one basket’ is very true.

@Zach Right right. I just started learning how to invest with my money instead of letting it sit in the bank account this year. I’m actually thinking about opening an online store next year. What about you?

@夏目 アヤ 大魔王 I was planning to buy a house earlier this year but that’s not possible anymore. I may also invest instead. I am also considering studying for the first time. Never had considered that before since I worked for 10 years
