English Expressions: Drinking alcohol

✅drunk: unable to speak

or act in the usual way because of having had too much alcohol.
✅shit-faced: The point at which you have consumed so much alcohol, that you have difficulty remembering simple things; i.e where you live, how old you are, etc..
✅hungover: feeling ill with a bad pain in the head and often wanting to vomit after having drunk too much alcohol.
✅tipsy: slightly drunk
✅wasted: extremely drunk
✅pass out: to become unconscious for a short time when drunk.
✅hammered: very very drunk

@Snipper In my family, my father used to get drunk. My mother, elder brother, two younger sisters and I do not drink. On the wedding day of my brother, my dad and uncle drank a lot. After getting drunk, their faces turned red and they passed out. When they woke up, my father was hungover but uncle was not. Do you know why? Because my uncle drank a little bit but my father drank a lot. This is one of his bad habits.
