    @Cloud everyone is safe! They were small tornados. We do have a lot of flooding now though!

    @Elyse yeah it doesn’t happen often. We might be a bit misleading 🤣🤣🤣 Cuz we have obvious rain seasons and we rely on the typhoons to bring us water, and the droughts seldom happen. It was rare that we didn’t have any typhoon last year. We’re used to the weather and they don’t usually bring that much harm unless it’s a super typhoon. That’s usually when the landslides happen. So those are basically one package. And the little earthquakes are also very common. We have built a warning system for the earthquakes. The smaller ones don’t even make any impact, but every few years we get a large one and buildings fall. Newer buildings are could stand earthquakes better, like the 101 tower, but sometimes it’s just inevitable. Human technology don’t really stand a chance against big earthquakes anyways.

    @Elyse for typhoon it’s easier just stay home and take all those dangerous stuff inside with you, like plants or clothes hangers. For landslides it’s more complicated. Landslides don’t just “happen”. It takes a very long while for the land over here to loose its grasp. So don’t over develop the mountain area than the natural flora would protect us from landslides, since the roots of the trees could help contain the soil. Well if it’s caused by an earthquake, then there’s nothing we can do. Except to build stronger houses, but there are still limitations.

    @Elyse yeah… it’s terrifying, though manageable. It mainly happens due to overdevelopment. I always think of it as a comeback from the nature.

    Typhoon/hurricane颱風 and earthquake地震 are the most common ones. And I think there are more floods(水災） in recent years🥲. Are those circles representing where the tornados occurred?
