Good morning everyone!

Today is Easter here in the United States

! This day is regarded as the day that Jesus was resurrected from death and brought to life again. Many Americans attend church in the morning and have a get together with their family where they eat and spend time together!

Culturally there has been an addition of an “Easter bunny” and an Easter egg hunt added for the children to add some fun. But this is unrelated to the religious holiday

Thanks guys!

Thanks for sharing a bit of your culture. Here in Spain we celebrate the same, Jesus resurrection. We don’t have the bunny. But traditionally on Monday we go to the countryside to eat “la Mona de pascua”. It’s like a cake with an egg in the middle.

emmm...I don't think the bunny is unrelated with this religious day, or probably it's just unrelated with Christian, or say Christian is unrelated with this holisday at the very beginning.

@张逸舟Aaron this is first and foremost a religious holiday for Christians that is how this holiday began. The Easter bunny came after - and is unrelated to the resurrection of jesus

Thank you! I think "Easter bunny "and Easter egg are part of religious holiday before I read your article。👍
