Idiom of the Day

“Two peas in a pod”

Friends will usually be

referred to as “two peas in a pod.” This idiom means that the friends are very similar, but it also can be that they are very close in friendship and seem inseparable. It’s really nice when you and your spouse are “two peas in a pod.” You can also use this idiom to describe two coworkers who also work well together, or perhaps the boss and the secretary if they are having an affair... But under most circumstances, this is an idiom about close friendship.
