Recently there has been a lot of news regarding the crisis in

Venezuela. Venezuela is currently going through a huge humanitarian crisis. The regime there is so oppressive and corrupt that the same government denies the people basic human necessities such as food, medicine, homes, and safety. The situation has esclated to a point where people are violently protesting every single day and are ready to kill whoever it takes to survive. The food shortage is so bad that some people have resorted to eat garbage from the streets. Personally, I fully support a revolution and that no human being should be denied basic necessities by anyone else no matter if you are white, black, yellow, brown, red, etc. The irony is that Venezuela has the potential to be one of the richest countries in the world since it is the country with the highest oil reserves in the world. More than the United States, Russia, Canada, Iraq, Iran, and Saudi Arabia.

    Oil interests above all. Ironically as this human crisis takes place in Venezuela and the USA intervention is regarded as the "only salvation", thousands of kilometers away the same country is supporting the war for petroleum purposes in Yemen, by also supporting a even worse country (Saudi Arabia), thus starving to death hundreds of thousands of people.

    @科睿德Crider I am not blaming China and Russia for this crisis. However, they do play a major role in this crisis. The fact that both China and Russia support a dictator that is killing his own people is downright wrong. They are only supporting him because both countries are interested in the Petroleum Venezuela has to offer. Is obtaining more Petroleum really that important compared to the lives of the people in that country?

    @Valter_zc that's what I'm saying... International politics are like this, international relations are based on interests rather than morality. And speaking of the link you posted, Chinese government has publicly debunk the rumor. (https://www.rt.com/news/455469-china-refutes-military-venezuela/) the news is very likely fake in my analysis too, the only source to authenticate the news is the Twitter page, where 3 Chinese officers from army, navy and air force respectively appeared, the picture doesn't appear to have been taken during expeditionary delivery as they are casually dressed instead of armed. On the contrary, China did deliver humanitarian aid to Venezuela and Ruptly recorded the process where no military but only civil personnels were in the cargo plane. This is a fake news.

    @Valter_zc I don't know about Cuban or Russians but China's only military presence oversea is in Saudi Arabia where they train Saudi's missile forces (**CLASSIFIED**) and Djibouti which is next to Somali for anti-piracy. And in fact, China only deals with the one in power (the authority) and they don't care who the authority is as long as they protect China's interests (investment, debt etc.) in the country, it's the Confucius philosophy. Same goes for USA, take the murder of that journalist in Turkey as an example. Why hasn't the US brought down Saudi Arabia which is an even more oppressive regime?

    @Valter_zc On the contrary, American intervention would be easy... Venezuelan's military is even shittier than the Iraq in 2003. But I don't believe such intervention will occur because it's not worth the price.

    @JC Maduro organized the situation in a way that even an American intervention wouldn't be easy, the militias would cause many deaths among civilians

    @Valter_zc I seriously hope not..... Hopefully, there is something kind of intervention soon because things are getting worse day by day and will eventually reach a point where war will be inevitable.

    @Big Black Cxx retired I guess you are right, but it is also about freedom and morality. Due to inflation the Venezuelan currency is practically worthless at this point in time. So even if they have money, they can't really do anything with it. However, the government deciding what they eat and how much they eat as well as emptying all the supermarkets have nothing to do with money. Also, the fact that the government led by the dictator can kill anyone they want without consequence has nothing to do with money. Yes, I agree that money plays a major part, but it is not the only issue at hand.

    @JC The oppression is what's on the surface and what general citizens see. Singapore's probably the most oppressive regime in Southeast Asia and guess why they are still here. To build up a strong economy is the ultimate key to the solution of the crisis and prolonged prosperity. It may be politically incorrect but what Venezuelan people enjoyed was merely a gift from the glorious god but they took them for granted, when god took it they got pissed. No matter how many revolutions are coming, things don't change if oil stays cheap or even if it does change, it'll still go bad someday later because the structure of Venezuelan economy is, after all, so fragile. I also feel sorry that folks in Venezuela are suffering but the only way they are surviving this is probably leaving the country.

    @JC It is... Everything is about the money and economy. The down of Maduro regime won't bring Venezuelan people the benefits of oils. Sure the current regime probably takes 95% of the cut but when a new regime (possibly led by US backed Guaido) came up, 99% of the cut goes to Wall Street. The only pillar of Venezuelan economy is oil and the country enjoyed a vast benefits from it during Chavez era and it was so rich and prosperous that they forgot how fragile such kind of economy and industrial sysyem is, it is so reliable on the international oil prices. With the down of oil price, people started to find oh I didn't get that much of pension this week from the government or something like that. In order to satisfy the people, the regime printed more cash which later caused severe inflation, people find their money is worth less and less. Plus the US sanction.

    @Valter_zc I completely agree with you and I'm happy you brought up this point because I wanted to mention it. China and Russia do have Venezuelan blood in their hands because they both support the Nicolas Maduro regime and aid him by providing weapons and troops. On the other hand, the US and European Union are against the Venezuelans dictator. However, interference may end up leading to larger scale war between the US, Europe, China, and Russia. As you mentioned before, the reason why all these superpower nations are all interested in Venezuela is because of the petroleum. Petroleum is money!
