Hey everyone!

I have an English slang phrase for you today

! The phrase is “more bang for your buck” in this phrase it’s important to remember that the word “buck” is slang for dollar. The phrase all together means to get or be getting a good deal for your money.

For example: I like to shop at the store called Aldies when I buy my bread, because I get more bang for my buck.

This implies I get either more bread for the same dollar as the other stores or I get the same bread for even cheaper than the other stores.

I hope you found this helpful!

@Ben Albrecht Diskont AL-brecht DI-skont ALDI was founded in 1913 with a small store with service. After the WW II it developed to discount stores with self service. Nowadays ALDI is one of the biggest discount store in Germany, but still completely in possession of family foundation.
