Apparently, some people were very offended by some of my posts

, so I’ll just say this now. When I post “American Slang” or “American Culture”, it means that it is something that we use in America. However, it does not mean that it isn’t used in other English speaking countries. I’m not knowledgeable about all the cultures of the English speaking world. I don’t want to generalize the English language and confuse non native speakers, teaching them that we do this everywhere if it’s only used in America. To avoid confusion, I just put that we do it in America( though I never say exclusively in America) If it is used in your culture as well, please feel free to add that in the comments, and we can all learn a little more.
