Idiom of the Day

“Let’s call it a day”

If you and a co-worker

have been working hard on a project, you might say “Let’s call it a day” and quit working on the project early. Maybe you would still stay at work and get other “busy work” done, or maybe you would leave work and go home early. Regardless, by saying “Let’s call it a day,” you have no intention on doing important work for the remainder of the work day.

@Jumana good! Your accent is not harsh, and you are easily understood. Just work more on practicing and I think you will get it closer.
