Visiting the Treehotel has been on my bucket list

for a while, and finally I got the opportunity to spend a night here.

The treehotel opened up in 2010 by a Swedish couple, inspired by the movie The Tree Lover. The hotel is located in Harads situated in the Northern parts of Sweden, surrounded by magnificent nature.

After checking in you have to take a short walk to reach the treerooms. The hotel consists of seven huts, located 4-6 metres above ground.

Each room has it unique features, and there is a separate building with a jacuzzi and a sauna.

The room we stayed in is called the Bird’s nest. It has a small bathroom, beds, a small table and a mini fridge. The entire room is heated and has electricity. There is no shower in this room, but it was a very short walk to find one.

Visiting this time of the year you will also have the front seats for watching the Northern lights/Aurora.

Summarising: If you want a unique, secluded and comfortable stay surrounded by nature - this will be the place for you!
