Example (1): “Unfortunately in today’s news there are loads of fake articles and ‘facts’, so we should take many of them with a pinch of salt.”

Example (2): “You know what he is like, always fooling around. I’d take it with a pinch of salt.”

I know you are serious, so I won't take any of what you said with a pinch of salt . Could I make a sentence like this with this phrase ?
