Tip>>>Listening practice!
Most English learners spend too much

time reading... and too little time listening.

Are you one of them?

If you don't live in an English-speaking country - and you don't have opportunities to use English every day - then it's especially important to practice listening as often as possible.
When you practice listening, don't make this common mistake...

This is the WRONG way to practice:
1. Listen once
2. Not be able to understand everything
3. Get frustrated, stop practicing, and give up
Stopping after the first try is the WORST thing you could do... it prevents you from making any progress!
Please don't let frustration and negative thoughts make you stop trying.

Remember - when you're learning a language, it's completely normal NOT to understand everything on the first listen.

But if you listen multiple times to the same audio, you will start to understand more and more.
It's a process of "training your ears" to better comprehend spoken English.
So, listen, write, listen, write, etc....
DO NOT GIVE UP!

I use an app to practice listening, but wonder how many times should i focus on one audio. You know it's time-consuming to try to comprehend full meaning of training materials.😄 If it exceeds 5 times of playing back, for example, should I directly have a look at the text?

Thank you so much, I know what do you mean and you're right. I love everything your posts, but I always have an excuse to not do it. That is, I have no time. But the real reason is, I am shy. I will start to try it. Now.

It's a really practical and good way of learning English .I have tried to listened to the English tape many times and I can understand what they say .besides ,if I wanna express myself ,I can quickly think of words and sentences from the tape .I also learn Spanish in this way and I can casually say some sentences 😁
