@三月雪 In 1974, a man buried the Cadillacs as pop art. It is on Route 66 in Amarillo Texas.

@三月雪 Standing along Route 66 west of Amarillo, Texas,Cadillac Ranch was invented and built by a group of art-hippies imported from San Francisco. They called themselves The Ant Farm, and their silent partner was Amarillo billionaire Stanley Marsh 3.

@三月雪 There are no ads. It is just funky art. An odd display that hasn't been done before.

@三月雪 when the mind is free, it starts to care about things other than numbers and profits, it starts to search for what makes them truly alive! And the result of that search, no matter the form, is a celebration of life! This is just another form of dancing, painting, or music. It doesn’t have to be a practical. They once lived, felt an irresistible urge, and expressed themselves! Now we stand there, in total amazement, is the very point of their expression. That bizarre sight wakes up some of ur basic human instincts lurking and sleeping inside for ages, eyes wide open, u feel more alive than ever, than when u r commuting, in a business meeting, or doing anything “practical”.

@三月雪 We have always been special in this regard. Do u know the cave paintings found in France? Impractical, but that urge we can still connect with through space and time. We haven’t changed all that much. Under all these fancy clothes and digital gadgets, we r still as naked as our ancestors ages ago. We just tend to forget. Their work, like any art form, is a reminder.
