Haven’t done a learning post in a while, so here y’all go. Common

phrases:
-what the hell?
Example: Your friend did not invite you to her birthday party. You can say “what the hell?!”
Can be used when you are mad, confused, or surprised
Example: Friends throw you a surprise birthday party. You can say “what the hell guys, you did all this for me?!” (You can say “go to hell” if someone really pisses [means make you really angry]you off)

-shit
This word can have a positive or negative donation depending on the context.
Example: You’re a piece of sh*t.
(你真没用-somewhere along the lines of that translation) This sentence obviously is not a good thing to say unless justifiable.
Example: You are the sh*t.
(你很棒)While it may seem offensive, putting “are the” makes all the difference. You usually can say this to friends you are close with.
Example: Your friend let you borrow his car so you can make it to your job interview on time. You can tell him “You are the sh*t bro!”
