Tip for students of English:
"Game of Thrones" is a “series”

, not a “serie”. We say "series" even when referring to one. It's always "series".

So, the following are both correct:
(1) "What *is* your favorite series?"
(2) "What *are* your favorite series?"

"What is your favorite serie?" is never correct.

    @Dan is like people is... instead of people are Because in Spanish people is singular La gente dice La gente hace So, when we are learning English we say “people is...” 😬 and we repeat people is, people is🤣
