¡Hola! ¿Cómo están todos?

Today, I learned the Spanish form

of “be”.
It sounded confusing at first, but hey! What do you know.

Estoy estundiando español🙆‍♀️
Yo soy, Tú eres, Él/Ella/Usted es.
Nosotros/Nosotras somos, Vosotros/Vosotras sois, Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes son.
Sidenote: Usted/Ustedes is usually used in addressing people older than you.

Question, why is there a tilde in Él and none in Ella?

    "Él" hace énfasis en una persona. "El" hace énfasis en un objeto. Por eso deben distinguirse por una tilde. Para "Ella" no es necesario.

    Cuz' "El" in Spanish is like "the" in English and also "El" is used to indicate the gender of a object 😌😌 I hope you'll be able to understand

    Because there are two types of "el" the first, names all kind of male things... "El perro, el reloj etc." Also the other form is indicated to talk about somebody. "Ayer fuimos a cine y allí estaba él con su novia" (yesterday we went to the movies and there he was with his girlfriend). In female gender doesn't occur this duality.

    Él= es un pronombre personal El= es un artículo Ella= es un pronombre personal y nunca lleva tilde

    Some cultural notes: in most of the countries usted is used as a formal way for 'you', but there are some countries use it informally (I'm sure Colombia does). Uds (ustedes) is used formally in Spain but in latinoamerica is informal. And last one: in some countries as Argentina and Uruguay, that don't use 'tu' but their own informal way which is 'vos' (it's not the same as vosotros). Vos has its own conjugations For the verb 'to be', you'd say 'Vos sos' Have a great day :)

    "Vos", "Vosotros", "sos" no son utilizados en México, sin embargo, en varios otros países de habla hispana si se usan.

    Él lleva tilde porque es un pronombre personal y se usa para diferenciarlo de 'El' ya que prácticamente se escribe igual pero se usa para objetos, cosas y animales.

    As Speaker native of spanish, I will explain you easy and quickly. 1- primero debes tener en cuenta que la gramàtica española (RAE) es quién toma rienda de la ortografía, ok? Ok. 2. Las tiltes son utilizadas para hacer énfasis en el acento de las vocales. 3. Él debe llevar tilde porque hay una mayor fuerza en la pronunciation, em este caso la É. 4. Ella no tiene accent. Por tanto, presta atención en entonacion. Nora: Aunque hablando oralmente con un nativo no hay problemas en la entonación. Pero sí es importante en textos formales, pero si tú estàs em confianza con un nativo hablando por mensajes no hay problemas, ya que muchos de nosotros lo pasamos por alto. De hecho, puedo enseñarte, tengo una buena ortografía.
