school-college-University 🔹"School buses" are not a thing! We have normal public transport but not a designated bus for getting to school.
🔹We graduate high school at 16 years old and highschool Graduation isn't a big deal here at all.
🔹 Age of Consent is 16.
🔹Plug sockets, you will need a converter/adapter as british plugs have 3 prongs on them.
🔹Meal time names : Breakfast, Dinner, Tea.
🔹When wrighting the date we write it Day/Month/year
🔹Women's clothing sizes, a USA size 8 is a UK size 10
🔹IMPORTANT!! a "fanny pack" in the UK is called "bum bag" "fanny" in the UK is a slang term for a females private.. area... 🤣🤣
🔹If someone greets you and says "alright" they mean hello NOT how are you.
🔹If you're at a restaurant and you need to find the "bathroom/restroom" ask for the toilets. "bathroom" here is literally the room where you bathe/shower.
