Many people say they can’t learn more than two languages and

I say “Honestly anyone can, you are the only one who is limiting yourself.” Don’t tell yourself you can’t do something because when you do that, you end up living that reality. Give yourself time and patience. You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to try.

Trying is the first part of success in my opinion.

I’m not perfect at all the languages I’m learning- my French is better than my German and even my Spanish, and my Arabic is only in its infancy. But I say learning 3+ languages is worth it! Doing so will really enhance your ability to connect with people from other cultures. And that’s something I think is very important in creating a better world for us all and getting rid of our prejudices.

@Mamadou Coulibaly An opinion is something you think. A fact is something that is always correct and a universal truth. Opinions vary among people

@Jordan I’m not perfect in all the languages I’m learning either, but I don’t know why some people come to me thinking I’m fluent in all of them because I’m learning them hahaha. Spanish is my second language but I’ll the the first person to admit I’m not fluent yet but I know a lot of the language. Portuguese is my third language but it’s not nearly at the level my Spanish is at, but it’s better than how I speak French for sure and I only recently started learning Chinese. I’ve tried several other languages too. I don’t know why people think it takes some kind of superhuman to learn words, it really isn’t that big of a deal. People always ask “Why are you learning [language]?” and I always say “I want to communicate with people from around the world as well as people in my country since over 350 languages are spoken here.” As a teacher who teaches ESL content, I want to be able to speak to my students and help them learn effectively too
