British English vs American English:

It's a good idea to understand

the differences between what things are called in British English vs what things are called in American English as it can lead to some awkward situations.....

For example
In American English 👖 are called "Pants"
"Pants" in British English = 🩲 (underwear)

And a "rubber" in British English vs a "rubber" in American English are VERY different things.
