In British culture, sometimes we can't say what we would like

to, because it could be rude.

But there are many "polite" phrases which can be used to express something negative, like:

"If you say so" = I think you are completely wrong

"Do what you think is best" = I am frustrated and I don't want to discuss this further

"That's an interesting way of looking at it" = What the hell are you talking about?

"With all due respect..." = I am about to say something that disrespects you/ your opinion

"I'll let you go now/ I'll let you get on" = I am ending this conversation

"Maybe later" = No

There are many, many more examples, because in British culture there are lots of situations in which social rules may prevent someone from saying what they really think

I think it's worst the hypocrisy 😏. This is more rude... But that's okay. It's a culture matter 😄

It’s so funny how different we are. How was the phrasal verb to say that something is seen as bad? (You taught me and i forgot). You told me that love is difficult to find in England because it doesn’t exist jajajajaa! That’s quite a facade, it always makes me smile... we are so different but we are also able to get along so well... isn’t it awesome ? I really like you, I am happy to be your friend. God bless our differences, make friendship colourful ❤️

@Luciana that phrasal verb was "to frown upon"... "In England, being too honest with your criticism is frowned upon" ;) sí, estoy de acuerdo, me encantan las diferencias culturales, y la cultura Latina tan amable. Gracias por enseñarme tantas cosas, mi amiga 🌹

Buenísimo, pero a esas frases además le añaden un tono irónico , así te queda claro que se burlan o te subestiman 😆
