Y hay COMPLETE QUESTIONS
(Independent Questions)
1) Where is the bathroom?
2) Where does Ana live?
3) What did you buy at the mall?
4) Who is the new teacher?
Una pregunta completa o independiente puede ser hecho sin ningún problema pero cuando se junta con una incompleta o dependiente, la segunda pregunta se convierte en un NOUN CLAUSE y muchas veces se comete el error de colocarla como pregunta pero recuerda que dos preguntas juntas no pueden estar en el mismo enunciado.
Ve el ejemplo del error y la manera correcta de enunciar la pregunta combinada.
a) Do you know...?
b) Where is the bathroom...?
❌ Do you know where is the bathroom?
✅ Do you know where the bathroom is?
a) Do you know...?
b) Where does Ana live?
❌ Do you know where does Ana live?
✅ Do you know where Ana lives?
a) Can you tell me...?
b) What did you buy at the mall?
❌ Can you tell me what did you buy at the mall?
✅ Can you tell me what you bought at the mall?
