I think it's really hard or impossible to learn a language if

there is no commitment. Finding a language buddy can be a true challenge, because most people just stay in the initial Hello or are afraid to speak.Also, a lot of people seem to think this is some dating app. I am here to be able to advance my language skills and help others in their journey learning. Is there someone who truly wants to practice, not necessarily every single day conversations, but who will be able to invest a few minutes in practicing the language.

I am learning Japanese,Korean and Portuguese.
I know English and Spanish.

    It was really inspiring to me to read your post and I am glad that I can find a person like you who is highly motivated toward learning a language. I’m an ardent learner of English though I’m not good enough to be fully able to use it. Right now, as a way to improve my English output skills, I have been saying something in English based on a specific topic and then write it down so I can make sure what I said is correct. (It’s kind of like a one minute speech.) It’s difficult to make sure that I wrote is correct by myself so I’m using this app to get my writings corrected by natives.( you can see my previous work on my profile ) If we can help improve our languages especially speaking and writing each other, that would be really nice!

    I totally understand you and answer the inbox only for those people who starts to talk asking me something that they read about my interests or asking for some help with the language. Luckily I found some quite really nice people here who just want practice and help me and wanna improve their skills in my native language. When I find someone who is really interested in practice and mutual help I always suggest this way: If you want to practice with me we could talk and we could share time between our languages, as an example, I speak/write in English and you in Portuguese, and we correct each other.

    I totally agree with you. Currently I'm learning Spanish and find it's even more difficult than English! Having learning buddy is fun and help me to keep motivation to study.

    Well, it'll be a pleasure to practise Portuguese or English with you. If you wish or have time for another friend, of course. I feel like I'm still stuck at the same level for ages! This kind of app has a intersting objective, but It's rare to keep in contact with people here. Besides, some are just looking for popularity as any other type of media. :/
