close to Füssen, a really beautiful town!
Also the area surrounding these 2 castles is so beautiful! You can take a nice walk alongside the lake (and even accidentally walk to Austria🇦🇹, as the border is only 1 kilometer away! lol)

You can also take a ride in a horse carriage up to Neuschwanstein!
