I get asked a lot on here, how do i learn a language? The most

important thing to start with is good foundations 🏠. I have drawn a quick overview of how to structure your language learning based on work by Benny Lewis (yes, he is one of those crazy YouTube polyglot guys 😆)

If you find the ideas in this picture interesting then you should definitely watch the first nine minutes of his video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbiFXKYEGDA&list=PLGxqcsRb3xUSBFssRQTEL69PLtI-B9pIg&index=2&t=924s

@hanny yeah it definitely is. Like anything in life you need the motivation first and then you will find the energy to work on it. What are you thinking of learning?

@Xander Barnes yup, but i feel like motivation is not work on me, i think it's because there is no goals?dunno. I'm learning Japan language but i can't even remember the hiragana and katakana not even once 😂

@hanny you need the reason for learning, eg, when i was learning spanish at school and university, i knew i wanted to do a year abroad in Spain and travel through south america. That meant i always had motivation to do my work and study the language

@Xander Barnes yes, ofc and i think other than learning we should also doing a practice, because if it's zero practice it will not improve anything. Anyway, thank you for the sharing it's really open my mind
