Today is Qixi (七夕), a traditional Chinese festival on the July

7th of the lunar calendar. The anniversary date when the cowherd and weaver girl meet only once a year. With all due respect, this couple has done the impossible long distance relationship for thousands of years.

There are variations of this in different countries with similar origin such as Tanabata in Japan, Chilseok in Korea and That tich in Vietnam. To me, it is equivalent to the romantic Valentine's day. Not just another sales event.
