Me gusta escuchar música.
I like listening to music.
Or, I like to listen to music.

I’m going to go for a walk and listen to a podcast.

¿Alguna pregunta? Saludos. ✌🏻✌🏻

I’m listening for the alarm. Me explico?

@Abigail Trejo Listening requiere intento y participación activa. Hearing es pasivo. You hear someone talking without listening to what they’re saying.

@John escuchar usually is followed by “a” as a preposition as in I’m listening to Metallica would translate into estoy escuchando a Metallica. You could say I’m listening metal estoy escuchando metal but as long as the subject is more precise escuchar a is the right way. I hope this makes sense to you
