Ayer mientras caminaba a casa, conocí a una nueva amiga. Ella

Suave is soft, like a light color, or a blanket. Mullido is fluffy, like a pillow. Blando is tender, like jelly or the face of a baby, or someone fragile.

Luna is right, however this three word are synonymous and could be a little redundant use it in the same sentence.

I haven't heard about "mullido" so i think isn't very common. "Suave" you can use it for something that is soft at tact. "Blando" is used for something that is easily bendable. I hope my explanation is useful 😅

I hope it can be helpfull, BTW could you tell me the name of those words in english?

Something "suave" has a smooth surface, for example silk cloth. Something "mullido" is fluffy, for example a plush toy or a hairy carpet. Something "blando" is tender, not tough to touch, for example a cushion.

@Saul Madera I think I’m English they would just be two words “smooth” and “soft”. But I think suave can be both smooth and soft lol. 🤔

How would you translate “a soft pillow”? Or how about a dog?

Suave = soft Blando = fluffy Mullido = when you change the structure of your pillow for feel you comfortable when you use this pillow . I hope I have explained well.

@Chris "almohada blanda" Just a little bit, they are very similar words. For blando or blanda I understand that is not hard, suave I could understand that is made of a soft material. I haven't though about that jaja

@Chris I'd rather describe a dog as "peludo" (hairy) and "suave" would mean the hair of the dog feels soft when I stroke it. As for a pillow, "blando,-a" if it's not hard, and "suave" if it feels soft when I stroke it

@Chris you can say: "Un esponjoso almohadón"
