After speaking to Chinese people the past year, I learned some

common mistakes for example:

在过去的一年里,在与中国人交谈之后,我学到了一些常见的错误:

Dont say  seldom, say rarely or hardly

Remember to have spaces after a comma, Okay👍

Dont say the word moist, find a different describing word

Many words in english and american english are different, for example - their is no first grade, second grade, etc in Britain, its primary school then middle school then high school then college/university in Britain,

If you say “fighting”( 加油!) to someone they will have no idea what you are talking about, you should say “Good Luck” or “You can do it!”

You cant tell someone “i want to play with you”, it has another bad meaning in english, say “i want to hang out with you”

如果您有任何其他问题可以在这里发布,我会更有可能在我的时刻看到它
If you have any other questions feel free to post here, I will more likely see it on my moment

@Elena Can both mean the same thing just said in a slightly different way Do you get it - Do you understand? Have you got it - Do you understand? The main difference is 'Got is' present tense i.e you currently have it now 'Get it' is past tense i.e you had it before already

I was told that “break a leg” is good luck in American English, is it the same meaning British English? Btw why not moist? Just being curious, I never use that, usually I use wet and sticky 😑

@Lwo you can say break a leg in british english too, moist isnt a nice sounding word i think and often hear people use it in strange ways such as saying the weather is moist, just sounds a little strange
