When I went to America, it was to visit family. At that time

Obama was still President..
The Americans were so friendly and really endearing once they heard my Aussie accent 💫 I was in LA, Vegas and Oregon to visit my family. All round, it was a good trip filled with friendly and courteous people.

It's devastating seeing what has unfolded in Minneapolis. If that was my older brother and I had to see... deal with that... I don't know how I could comfort our Mother let alone myself. There's no comfort for the people suffering.

Racism is hatred. Hate coming from the unknown.

I pray for a better future. It's why I love learning foreign languages... one thing I've learned is how similar we are, not how different we are.

I love the community here and I'm glad (most of us) respect each other. Maybe it's not in real life, but it's our little online family ♥

@A Young Sinatra In Psychology: Hatred is an Emotive reaction. Therefore, it's a reaction to a thought/action/event/motivation. Interesting!!!

@Jai The seeds of hatred have been planted in the hearts of every black man from the moment he was stripped of his hometown and sold to America.
