This week a parent called the 학원 where I worked demanding you

know if any of the foreign teachers went clubbing in Itaewon this weekend. While I understand completely why she is worried, I’m a little offended that she thinks only the foreign teachers would do that. In fact, none of us ever go clubbing. We’re all taking Covid-19 really seriously, and we’re following every recommendation from the KCDC, our local governments, and from our employer... why do the parents think that only we would be reckless??? Every day, I see young people outside without masks in big groups around the city?
