Hey everyone!

I have another English phrase for you today!
The phrase is “jump ship” - “Jump ship” means to leave any post or position process or project - quit or resign.
For example:
John: Sarah did you hear mike jumped ship last week?
Sarah: no I didn’t! Why did he quit? I though he like his job!
The phrase is “jump ship” and this can be used in present tense / past tense or ending with (ing)
Please note: this isn’t heavily used just something you may hear.
