to "lose the plot" is an expression you can use when you want expression that you or someone else no longer understands a situation or knows how to deal with it, or that someone starts behaving in a strange or silly way

"I swear I'm losing the plot... I've been cooped up inside for the last 2 week's on government lockdown..."

"my mum lost the plot when she found out I was still partying after being swing diagnosed with Corona..."

"I'm sorry it's been a long day, I think I'm losing the plot.. Can you explain it again?"

    I wanna vomit onto all of this bad days that people only talk about that real it makes us annoyed...when will come back our normal beautiful days l don’t know and l think maybe that time that we had passed we didn’t know their value... now l can understand how we was happy then...🧚‍♀️

    @Lur It was something to do with it running short in China so people outside of China started buying it to send to their families and then herd mentality kicked in and people started seeing others buying large amounts of TP and then the cycle of buying lots of toilet paper started... it's madness 😂😂
