Happy Halloween everyone!

This is in theory a nighttime celebration

. It has recently grown into a commercial success here in the US.

The photo is taken at a foster home near where I live. They must have 5 or 6 foster kids living with them at present.

It is traditional to have a candle in the pumpkin, so it glows at night.

    @Gunzip my mom used to cook them and make pumpkin pies. She decided it was too much work and eventually opted for buying it in cans.
