Hi guys, these are my favourite pics I took this week.

1 -

Mangrove Malaise
A quick pic I took of the sky reflecting strangely in the mangroves of my hometown at high tide. If I wasn't in a rush I'd have been able to take a better shot but that's life.

2 - Ice Cube Archipelago
When I took this shot I didn't know if I was looking up at the clouds or I was high in the sky looking down at them. New Zealand (namely the North Island) is FAMOUS for it's strangely bizarre clouds and this day was no exception.

3 - Fishermans Friend
Just as I was about to jump on my ferry to go into the city I took a random shot trying to capture the person fishing from the pier on the left, to my surprise a seagull swooped into the frame to show off.

4 - Street Smart
As it started to get dark in town I was taking a shot opposite Auckland library only to find this guy with cool pink hair walk up to me as he crossed the road, I think he knew I was taking photos so he kind of gave me a good profile shot of his face.

5 - In Search of Happiness
I liked the happy look of the guy sitting down although I wasn't so happy with the general framing of the shot when I took it. However, when I got home I noticed there was also a guy in the shadows kind of looking like he was trying to fit in with everyone else, hence the name for this shot ;D

6 - Azure Ascension
To be honest, anyone can take this shot if they find where to go in Auckland city (Lorne street for my Kiwi followers ;D) there are three simple lights, lighting up this cute little tree.

7 - Lingering Departure
It's really hard to get a good shot of the city nightline when you're on a bumpy ferry ride home, but I like how this turned out.

8 - Verdant Variation
I really love this picture because it has a PUKEKO in it! This pukeko was a very cheeky boy who after this shot flew onto the round red bush in the backdrop. I love the difference in the colour of the grass.
