So, I get a lot of people on here that ask me to help them with

English. The best way to learn English is practice it often. Starting today, I will try to post a new topic everyday that we can discuss.
In the comments, share your thoughts and ideas.
You can do so by writing or speaking (if you make a mistake.. it's okay! That's how we learn.) The only thing I ask *Please be nice!*

Topic of the day: Interracial couples.
Is interracial dating/marriage common where you live? Are there mixed races in your family?

Here in the US, it is very common to see couples who are not of the same race dating. There are still some people who do not believe in that, but that isn't as common here. Of course, everyone has a preference, and that's okay! I come from a family of mixed race/ethnicity. I myself am half black half white along with my 2 sisters. My cousin (on my moms side) is half white half Vietnamese. My great grandmother, her parents are from Germany. My best friend is half white half Mexican. My friend from high school, her mom is half white half mexican.. and her grandfather is now married to a Filipino. So, I'm so used to seeing mixed races, I often get shocked hearing that it's not common somewhere else.

In korea in my opinion lots of people thought are going to changed but it is not common till now and as i see it depends on what kind of value person has, i mean there are many people who have a diffent value, so one person can think if they are far from each other, they can’t make a trust and also relationship but there are other case for sure. So what i want to say is person can meet with other person who has a same value Am i writing right way?😂

@이민재 "In Korea, in my opinion, a lot of people's thoughts are changing. Interracial dating has not been common until now. But, it depends on what the person's preference is. Some people might think that a long distance relationship would be too difficult, and there may be trust issues. But, you can meet with someone who has the same mind-set." Very good. Thank you for your feedback! 🙂

In the US there are a lot of races but in Turkey not as much as that. So it's not very common. Generally Turkish people doesn't care about races. Mind-set and beliefs are important for us. Thanks for sharing this and helping us in advance.

@Jake Ah, really? That's awesome. You must live in a bigger city. Mostly, from what I've heard.. it isn't too common in China. Good luck with your search! And thank you for commenting. 🙂
