I headed to the lake this evening after a lengthy break. There was snow on the path around the lake and of course it's all still frozen over, but it was a sunny evening and an enjoyable walk. Due to the time switch to summer time last weekend we gained an extra hour of daylight at the end of the day, which will make it easier to get out after logging off from the computer in the evening.

I really enjoy the icycles I found on the lake house.

I found a red winged blackbird singing on a branch. These are migratory birds, so it's an early sign of spring!
