If something is “out of

your hands,” this means it is out of your control. You do not have the authority or means to do anything about the situation. The rest is now up to fate and destiny.

“I just submitted my paperwork for a job position. The rest is now out of my hands.”

@Won excellent. Just make sure you add the plural “s” sound at the end of the word “hands.”
