***TIPS on USING HELLO TALK***

I have been on Hello Talk for

almost four years and here are my tips on starting conversions and making more friends:

1. Do no just say "Hi". Try to make an effort to introduce yourself or look at people's profiles and say/ask something about their city, hobbies etc. I honestly never had an interesting conversation that just started with “Hi”.

2. Have an introduction in your profile! I think this is really important. If I see a profile with no information, I usually don’t respond because that person did not take the time to present himself/herself even a little bit.

3. Do not post something like “Does anybody want to practice?”. We are all here to practice and I’m sure you would receive more messages if you post something more interesting, personal or useful for other learners.

4. Do not ask "Can you teach me English?". Nobody can teach you a language here so don’t have unrealistic expectations. This is a place to practice what you have learned and ask questions.

    @Talala Thank you so much dear friend. I think that is difficult too for search friends for texting or talking about some subjects, like Politics, Sociology, Philosophy, Arts and others...     @Henrique You don’t need to talk to everyone. Majority of the conversations will die but all you need is a few good friends that you have good and long conversations with. Be patient and you will find your good friends! I think I will make another post on this :)

    @Henrique Exactly yuo're right. I've followed all the tips of Talala but even she has ignored me jajajajajajaja 🤣. I don't take it personaly, I prefer to focus on who follow the conversations, keep practicing with them and sometimes write coments on the TL that help other people 🙂👍🏾

    @Elías el Latino Americano I agree with you my friend. In another app, called speaky, the people call you for texting or talking and after this, they ignore you and don't answer more... It's terrible my friend... Take care.

    @Talala The problem is when we use all of these rules and others with the people and nobody want texting or talking... And is impossible keep a deep conversation about any subject... I use seventeen apps for texting and talking and is impossible keep a minimum small talk... But, thank you so much for your tips my friend. Take care and bye bye...

    5. Don't be crepy, people here are NOT obligated to reply to you. There are elitist people that won't reply to you even if you are polite, but also there are nice and kindy people. So, keep posting helpful information and keep writting politly. If nobody reply to your messages, feel free to write me, I ALWAYS reply ALL my mesaages, I am NOT elitist person. :) I am here ONLY to LEARN and HELP others ;)
