Hey everyone!

I have an English phrase for you today! It is

“shoot(ing)the breeze” this means to talk about friendly but unimportant things for a long time

For example:
Johns favorite thing to do on Friday nights is to relax, have a beer, and shoot the breeze with his friends

I will say this phrase is more popular with the older generation.
