Ryan’s Word Of The Day: Flaunt (verb)

Meaning: Show off

Example

(1): “I am working very hard at the gym each day and if I ever get solid abs, I’ll definitely flaunt them. However I love sweet food way too much so it won’t happen!”

Example (2): “Let me be totally real with you guys. When I’m, like, super rich I’m gonna buy so many designer clothes and go to the friggin’ club and flaunt it all! I want all the girls to be super jealous and all the guys to be looking at me. Yeah baby!”

See ya!

    @Ryan thank you

    @Marie Yes, you can use it this way too! Flaunt one’s ability but it’s not as commonly used.
  • Ryan

    @Andrei Way too much means far too much. So I used this word to express how much I like sweet food.
  • Andrei

    Ryan, could you explain the words sweet food way. Why did you say 'way' ? It seems me 'sweet food' is enough in this sentence.

    Is it possible to flaunt his knowledge? Or it's only a physical appearance.
  • Mary
