🇬🇧 THINGS ABOUT THE UK 🇬🇧 (Part 1)

1. British accent...🇬🇧

When you think of a British accent, which accent do you think of? Firstly, let's think about what Britain is. Britain is made up of 4 countries: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. If you are talking about a british accent, then you need to be specific because if you think a british accent is just a London accent, then you're so wrong 🤣!! A Scottish accent is also a british accent. A Welsh accent is also a british accent. Britain isn't London!!!

2. Don't call anyone British! 🔇🇬🇧

The UK is made up of 4 countries (I already just explained this...), and these 4 countries are completely different. You probably didn't know that there is a lot of conflict between the 4 countries. We are barely a united kingdom. The Scottish people believe that they are much better than the English people, and the English people believe that they are much better than the Scottish people. These are the two main countries involved in conflict. Nobody likes Wales, and nobody knows what is happening in Northern Ireland (lol, these are my English beliefs 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿).

3. Big Ben ⏰

We all know about the famous sights in London such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, or the London Eye. Here is something you might not know about the Big Ben clock tower. The clock tower is not called Big Ben!😱 Infact, the big bell inside the clock tower is called Big Ben. Big Ben is the name of the very big bell that makes the loud sound!

Thankyou 😊.

@Jongwan You don't say "from the UK", it's more polite to recognise the country that they're from. For example... "someone from England", "someone from Wales", "someone from Scotland".

Britain is made up 3 countries: England, Scottland and Wells plus if we talk about UK, Northen Ireland is included in as the 4th county. I like your enthusiasm for the whole country but even rather for guid Scottland. 😊
