Today is Mid-Autumn Festival, also called “Moon Festival”, and

is celebrated in Taiwan and elsewhere in East Asia to mark the fall harvest and to offer traditional worship to the moon. Its one of the three most important holidays in Taiwan. It’s held on the full moon according to the lunar calendar and celebrated by eating moon cakes and having barbecues. This year because of pandemic restrictions, outdoor barbecues have been prohibited. We hope to have them next year.
