There outside is a big blue neck lizard! 🦎💙 It was in the garden basking in the sun. 🌞 Foraging for insects and bugs. Often they eat snakes and are not prone to attacking humans. The Blue tongue is usually quite placid, timid reptiles. They will often scurry away if they feel vulnerable or under attack but other times they will stand their ground! 🦎 I remember seeing a cute one as a child. I wanted to pick it up. But when I approached it, it got angry, and went into defensive mode. It began to splay itself out by flattening its body. It almost increase its body size by double. Another memory I had was they used to sit on the beanbag in our garage. Near my work lab there is a drain that runs into a carpark below. 🚗 🚕 Luckily we don't use the drain. So the birds will be safe! ☺️🤗 Last week there was only a nest. I passed some cockatoos eating breakfast too. In the picture you can see the red post box. 📮 I wanted to capture this image to share because I feel that it is a very Australian image. 🇦🇺 My Dad enjoyed his breakfast very much! I poured him a glass of breakfast juice 🍊😋 and in a surprised voice said " You even bought juice too!" (We, rarely drink it because of the sugar content, but this was a special occassion) Some time later, I rushed off to church for practise for their online service. ⛪ I was back behind the piano again and there was three songs to play. 🎹🎵☺️💖 It felt good being able to enjoy music again! 🎵😊 By midday, we enjoyed a zoom session with the family. 👨‍👩‍👦 🌐👪🌐🙋‍♀️I really likes seeing my nephews. Unfortunately we can't meet because of lockdown.
