The main character, Maomao, is my favorite part of the show. She is smart, curious, and works with herbs, medicine, and even poison. Her job as a poison tester in the palace makes the story very interesting. I really liked her cool and clever personality. The other characters are also well-made, and the mix of mystery, drama, and a little humor kept me watching. The animation is also very pretty and smooth. I watched Season 1 last year and loved it, so Season 2 was just as good. She's a super-strong alien who loves to eat and always carries an umbrella. She can be a bit wild, but deep down, she's sweet and caring, like a little sister to the group. Gintama is a fun mix. One minute you're laughing hard, the next you might feel like crying. It's all about friends and how silly life can be.
